Self-Defense: Soldiers don't have to obey order in order to defend people. Vengeance & Persecuted for your Faith: What about stopping a whole bunch of bad people? What about not resisting if you are being persecuted for your faith since you are ready to go to heaven anyway, & the prosecutors just might ignore you.
