Is Baptism Necessary?

Is baptism still necessary? Should one be baptized in the name of the "Father, Son & Holy Spirit" or "Jesus" only? [Acts 2:38, Acts 8, Acts 19, Colossians 2:9, 1 Corinthians 10:2].
