Paul, Judaizers & Keeping the Law

If some Jews were still following that law, wouldn't they be Judaizers? Why weren't the Jewish leaders more supportive of Paul? [1 Corinthians 9:20-22, Romans 14:5, Acts 16:3, Mark 2:28, Galatians 5:2-4].
