Washings (Bathing)

Could John 3:5 be talking about being "washed" in the water of the word? [John 3:5-6, Ephesians 5:26].

Is it possible that the "washing of the Word "in Ephesians is parallel to being "born of the water?" [John 3:4-5, Ephesians 5:26, Ezekiel 36:25-26, 1 Peter 1:22, John 15:3, Titus 3:5]
